Operations Window

Sprint 14 — July 2026

The doctorate starts July 13. That is the only thing that matters this sprint. Everything else — the dispatch backlog, the field-note cadence, the content pipeline — runs in service of that milestone. Establish the four-lane rhythm before the calendar gets heavier.

Building

+Capella DIT orientation — setup, SMART tuition routing, first syllabus
+TITC dispatch cadence — first repeatable publishing loop
+Community Voice survey form — swap placeholder to live Google Form

Attending

+Day One of doctoral program — July 13, 2026
+SA community rhythm — local events and field presence
+August road arc prep — logistics and coverage planning

🔬 Doctoral Field Study

Who actually gets to write the rules for the future?

Washington and Silicon Valley are currently writing the rules for the AI age, but they rarely ask the rest of us how we actually feel about it. As a doctoral student and community field reporter, I am building a ground-truth dataset to take into the rooms where policies are made.

You do not need to be a tech expert to answer this. In fact, if you have never touched an AI tool in your life, your perspective is exactly what is missing from the research. I want to hear from:

  • Students and recent grads trying to figure out what's next
  • Legacy workers worried about what AI means for their job
  • Teachers adapting their classrooms without any real guidance
  • Small business owners navigating tools they weren't trained on
  • People who have never touched an AI tool in their life

Numbers change policies, and your voice belongs in this data.

July + August Arc

July is the doctorate starting — everything else runs in support of that. August is when the road opens: federal tech and AI conferences on the national circuit, field reports from rooms most tech creators never enter. SA has to be clean before the van leaves.

Ahead:

+First Capella DIT term underway — Day One is July 13
+Dispatch backlog cleared — AI April, Datanauts, Geekdom Tech Day field notes
+August road arc logistics locked — remote work, van checklist, coverage plan
+Day One content documented and published

Doctoral student first. Everything else is proof of work.
