Safety Waiver
This Safety Waiver applies to all live, in-person DigiTag events. Read it together with the main Terms of Use and any venue-specific or event-specific rules provided by your organizer.
Version safety-waiver:1 · Effective May 17, 2026
What live play involves
In-person DigiTag gameplay may involve walking, running, rapid movement, public or private venue navigation, and direct interaction with other participants. Participation carries real risk of physical injury, property damage, interpersonal conflict, or removal from a venue if play is not managed carefully.
Player safety rules
- Play only in permitted areas and during approved times
- Do not enter restricted property, unsafe zones, or private spaces without permission
- Do not chase through traffic, vehicles, stairwells, athletic facilities in use, or hazardous terrain
- Do not use physical force, threats, reckless contact, or dangerous props
- Do not play while driving or operating any equipment
- Stop immediately when a ringmaster or venue authority instructs you to
Organizer responsibilities
Ringmasters and affiliated group organizers are responsible for defining the permitted play area, age restrictions, quiet hours, emergency contact procedures, dispute process, and any special rules for their venue or audience — including schools, churches, workplaces, retreats, family events, and private venues.
Organizers are responsible for verifying venue permissions, supervision levels, lighting conditions, participant readiness, and local legal requirements before launching a game. Dungo Digital does not independently audit organizer decisions in real time.
Minors
The public self-service DigiTag experience is for participants 13 and older. If an organizer runs an event that includes younger participants, the organizer must secure parent, guardian, school, ministry, employer, or institutional approval and provide appropriate adult supervision. Dungo Digital is not responsible for organizer failures in this regard.
Medical and emergencies
If an injury, threat, or unsafe situation occurs: stop play first. Contact emergency services or the venue authority. DigiTag is not a substitute for emergency services, venue security, or onsite supervision.
Assumption of risk and allocation of responsibility
By joining a live DigiTag event, you acknowledge the ordinary risks of participating and understand that Dungo Digital does not control venue conditions, participant behavior, or organizer judgment in real time.
Claims arising from onsite injuries, unsafe movement, trespass, participant disputes, or venue incidents should be directed first to the organizer or venue that controlled the event. This waiver supplements — but does not replace — any additional event release, school permission form, employer policy, or venue waiver that may apply to a specific game.
Contact
Questions about a specific event should be directed to the event organizer. Platform or safety policy questions can be sent to digitag@dungodigital.io.
